Salvadore “Sam” Patitucci, age 74, of
Millville died early Saturday morning at his home. He had been in declining
health for the past three years.
Born in Port Norris, the son of the late John and Angelina DeJohn Patitucci,
he was the husband of the late Dale Dayton Patitucci. He had been a
Millville resident for 9 years and prior to that had resided in Vineland.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed with the Durand Glass Company
in Millville and had also worked at the former Owens-Illinois Glass Company
in Bridgeton many years.
Mr. Patitucci was a member of the Italian
American Club of Vineland.
Survivors include a son, Salvadore F. Patitucci, Jr. of Claremont; two
daughters, Sue Ellen Starr of Cedarville and Lynn Mitchell of Millville; two
brothers, William Patitucci of Millville and James Patitucci of Deerfield
Twp. and seven grandchildren, Paul Mitchell, Jr., his wife, Audrea and their
soon to be born daughter, Samantha Starr, Kayla Starr, Frankie Patitucci,
Keith Patitucci, Joey Patitucci and Brendan Patitucci, and many nieces and
nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, Charles, Angelo and
Dominick Patitucci and two sisters, Florence Mello and Carmella Marone.
Funeral services will be held on
Wednesday at 12 Noon at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway # 77,
Upper Deerfield Township.
Burial will take place at Holy Cross
Cemetery in Millville.

a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Written
