Edward I. Jones, 39, of Bridgeton, died
unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, in Bridgeton.
Edward was born in Vineland and was the son of Annie Burnett Jones of
Bridgeton and the late George I. Jones. He had lived in Bridgeton for 24
years and prior to that had resided in Rosenhayn.
Prior to being disabled, he had been employed with the Tropicana Hotel &
Casino in Atlantic City.
Besides his mother, survivors include: two daughters, Yasheka Jones and
Mahogany Jones, both of Bridgeton; one son, Quaysaun E. Jones, Bridgeton;
one brother, Kenny Jones, Florida; one sister, Rethia Mae Jones,
Philadelphia, Pa. and his girlfriend, Sharnita Jenkins, Bridgeton.
Funeral services will be held in Union Baptist Temple, South Pine & Willow
Sts., Bridgeton, on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 12:00 O’clock noon. Burial will be
in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at
the church in Monday morning between 10:00 and 12:00 O’clock. Funeral
