Patricia Ann Merkel

Patricia Ann Merkel, 34, of Millville, died unexpectedly in Vineland, on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004.

Trisha was born in Vineland and was the daughter of Dr. Margaret Devine Merkel of Millville and the late John J. Merkel, Jr. She had been a resident of Millville for most of her life.

She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church of Millville.

Besides her mother, survivors include: three sisters, Mary M. Merkel-Custer, Vineland, Jeannie Merkel-Figura, Tampa, Fla. and Geraldine Merkel-Bassi, Vineland. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John J. Merkel, III.

The funeral will originate in the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday morning, Dec. 31, at 9:00 O’clock, followed by a Funeral Liturgy in St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church, 621 Dock St., Millville, at 10:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday evening between 6.00 and 8:00 O’clock and Friday morning between 9:00 and 9:30 O'clock.
