Amelia Anna Morano, 94 of Upper
Deerfield Township, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 12, 2004, in South Jersey
Healthcare-Bridgeton.
Mrs. Morano was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and was the daughter of the late
Vincent and Philomena DiNardo DiSalvo. The wife of the late Frank Morano,
she had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Township for 75 years.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed with Seabrook School
Cafeteria, Vineland State School Cafeteria and with Newcomb Hospital in
the Dietary Department. After her retirement she had worked as a “Nanny”
for several families in this area.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bridgeton.
Survivors include: a daughter, Marie R. Mukoyama and her husband James,
Upper Deerfield Township and two granddaughters, Annie Eustice, Marlton
and Samantha Mukoyama, Upper Deerfield Township. She was preceded in death
by eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, Dec. 15, at 11:00 O’clock,
in the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield
Township, N. J. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bridgeton, N. J.
Friends will be received Thursday morning one hour prior to the services
at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations, in
Mrs. Morano’s memory, to either the American Cancer Society, 1400 West
Landis Ave., Vineland, N. J. 08360 or the American Heart Assoc., 600 S.
