Dorothy Overs, age 79, of Commercial
Township died early Wednesday morning, July 14, 2004 at the home of her
daughter, Debra in Vineland. She had been in declining health for the past
four months.
Born in Millville, the daughter of the late John and Mabel Wills Craner she
was the wife of the late William E. Overs, Jr. She had lived at her present
address for 22 years and prior to that had resided in Bridgeton.
Mrs. Overs was a homemaker and greatly enjoyed her family. She attended the
Good News Assembly Church in Upper Deerfield Township.
Surviving are three sons, William E. Overs, III of Corinth, TX, David N.
Overs of Millville and Michael T. Overs of Vineland; four daughters, Darlene
Overs of Millville, Marianne Overs of Corinth, TX, Dorothy Snyder of
Rosenhayn and Debra A. Allred of Vineland; a brother, John Craner of
Millville; two sisters, Betty Rosario and Olive Horner both of Millville, 16
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter,
Elizabeth Wilson, two brothers, Colonel Craner and Gene Craner, a sister
Harriet Potts and a grandson and a great-great granddaughter.
Funeral services were held on Friday,
July 16th at 11 a.m. at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway # 77,
Upper Deerfield Township.
Burial was made at Greenwood Memorial
Park in Millville.
