C. Donna Weems, aged 40, of Port Norris,
died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at her home.
Ms. Weems was born in Port Norris and was the daughter of Clarence W. Weems,
Jr. and Thelma Barnes Weems of Port Norris. She had been a lifetime resident
of that community.
She had been employed with Alcan Plastics in Millville for the past 20
years.
Donna was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Port Norris.
She loved her dog Fluffy and enjoyed dancing and bowling.
Besides her parents, survivors include: three sisters, Jacquelyn A. Barnes,
Philadelphia, Pa., Carmen B. Weems and Kimberly M. Gross, both of Port
Norris; two brothers, Terry Weems, Port Norris and Clarence W. Weems, III,
Millville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was
predeceased in death by a brother, Harold L. Barnes.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon, July 20, at 1 O’clock,
in the John Wesley United Church, Ogden Avenue, Port Norris. Burial will be
in Haleyville Cemetery, Commercial Township. Friends will be received
Tuesday afternoon one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
