John A. Connolly, 54, of Lawrence
Township, died Monday evening, June 21, 2004 at his home, after a brief
illness.
Born in New York City, New York, the son
of the late John V. and Rose Koltis Connolly, he was the husband of Marianna
Cintron Connolly. He had been a resident of Lawrence Township for the past 7
years, moving there from Perth Amboy.
Since January of 2004, he had been
employed as a Food Service Supervisor at Bayside State Prison and prior to
that had been employed with Southwoods State Prison.
Mr. Connolly was a Veteran of the United
States Navy, having served during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was a member of the V.F.W. of Perth
Amboy and he enjoyed fishing.
Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, Kevin V. Connolly, Sayreville
and Sean Connolly, Old Bridge; one step-son, Phillip Andro, Lawrence
Township; one step-daughter, Ann Marie Keesler, Northern New Jersey; one
sister, Rosanne Connolly, Jackson and one granddaughter, Felicia Andro,
Lawrence Township.
Funeral services will be held on Friday
afternoon, June 25, at 2:00 O’clock, in the Padgett Funeral Home, 160 Main
Street, Cedarville. Burial will be in the Cumberland County Veterans
Cemetery, Hopewell Township. Friends may call on Friday afternoon between
the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 O’clock, prior to the services at the funeral
home.
