James F. Perry, Jr., age 71, of Upper
Deerfield Township died Saturday morning, June 5, 2004 at South Jersey
HealthCare-Bridgeton. He had been in declining health for the past year.
Born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania the son
of the late James F. and Emma Dunn Perry, he was the husband of the late
Percilla Miller Perry. He had lived in Upper Deerfield Township for 36 years
and prior to that had resided in Millville.
Mr. Perry had owned and operated his own
vending machine service company in the Millville and Bridgeton areas for 30
years. He had also been employed at Millville Manufacturing Company, West
Company and Colonial Boat Works, all in Millville.
He was a member of the Deerfield Elks
Lodge # 733 and the Fifth Ward Athletic Club in Bridgeton.
Survivors include two sons, James F.
Perry, III of Millville and Richard Perry of Florida; two daughters, Ella
Endora of Absecon and Patricia Grooms of Vineland; two stepsons, David Olsen
of Vineland and Joseph Olsen of Millville; five stepdaughters, Marjorie
Daugherty and Helen Tress both of Beverly Hills, Florida, Barbara Gajdos of
Fairfield Township, Patsy Jean Star of Hopewell Township and Doris Coward of
Millville, 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the
Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on
Tuesday, June 8th at 2 p.m.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 1 to 2
p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
