Solve “Sal” Stanfa, aged 69, of Upper
Deerfield Township, died unexpectedly Friday morning, March 19, 2004, in the
emergency room of South Jersey HealthCare-Newcomb.
Mr. Stanfa was born in Vineland and was the son of the late Samuel and Vita
Lena Sacco Stanfa. He had lived in Upper Deerfield for 29 years and prior to
that had been a resident of Vineland.
He had been employed with Venice Maid Co. in Vineland for over 40 years.
He was a member of Teamsters Local 676 of Philadelphia.
Survivors include: his wife, Sharon Martellio Stanfa; two sons, James Ruhl
and his wife Kim, Alloway and David Ruhl and his wife Christina, Vineland;
three brothers, Peter Stanfa, Hopewell Township, Michael Stanfa, Carlyle,
Ill. and Joseph Stanfa, Rockaway; one sister, Josephine Hustedde, Egg
Harbor; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by two brothers, John Stanfa and Nicholas Stanfa.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, March 23, at 11:00 O’clock,
in the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield
Township, N. J. Burial will be in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Upper Deerfield
Township. Friends will be received Tuesday morning one hour prior to the
