Gloria G. Zurlo, 62, of Vineland,
formerly of Hopewell Township, died Monday, March 1, 2004, in South Jersey
HealthCare-Newcomb. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Ms. Zurlo was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late Anthony J.
and Frances Sherma Zurlo. She had lived in the Vineland Developmental Center
for the past 28 years and prior to that had been a resident of Hopewell
Township.
She had been very active in the Special Olympics Program at the
Developmental Center.
Survivors include: one brother, Larry M. Zurlo, Greenwich; four sisters, Lee
Blake, Phyllis Uhland, Connie Georgis and Linda Berkhardt, all of Florida.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Zurlo and Anthony Zurlo and
two sisters, Dottie Knuttle and Jennie Pierce.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, March 4, at 11:00 O’clock in
the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville. Friends will be received
Thursday morning one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
