Gordon L. Huff, Jr., age 73, of Quinton
Township, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 18, 2004 in the Renaissance
Nursing Center in Bridgeton. He had been in declining health for the past
year.
Born in Bybee, Tennessee, the son of the
late Gordon Lee and Kate Dover Huff , he had been a Bridgeton area resident
for over 40 years, prior to that he had lived in New Orleans and Tennessee.
Before his retirement, he had been
employed in the construction trade most of his life.
Survivors include: three sons, Larry
Huff, Newport, TN., Kenneth Huff, Pigeon Forge, TN. and Michael Huff, New
Orleans, LA.; one daughter, Karen Huff, Newport, TN.; four brothers, Tommy
Huff, Stow Creek Township, James Huff, Fairfield Township, Troy Huff, North
Carolina and Carl Huff, Pennsville; four sisters, Bonnie Woods, Alloway
Township, Mary Huff, Fairfield Township, Trulamae Young and Annie Marie Call
both of Missouri; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Huff and a brother, Hardy Huff.
Funeral services will be held in the
Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on
Thursday morning, May 20, at 11:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Fernwood
Memorial Park, Hopewell Township. Friends may call on Thursday morning
between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 O’clock, prior to the services at the
