Burman P. Tull, Sr., 73, of Millville,
N.J. died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at home after an extended illness.
Born in Wattsville, Va., he lived in
Cumberland County, N.J. for over 50 years. Before retirement, Mr. Tull
worked many years in the seafood industry in Port Norris, N.J. and later as
a commercial truck driver for Burchams Trucking Co. in Millville, N.J.
He enjoyed watching professional baseball.
He was the son of the late John Tull and
Berniece (Savage) Tull of Wattsville, Va. He was married to Pearl (Grant)
Tull and to this union eight children were born; daughters Sylvia
Clark(deceased), Angeline Hickman of Vineland, Carla Tull of Millville;
sons, Burman, Jr. of Bridgeton, Tyrone of Atlantic City, Wesley, Kelvin and
Wade of Vineland and also with his current companion, Emma Golden of
Millville, he is grieved by a son Tremayne Golden and a step-son, Roderick
Golden. Other survivors include his brothers; Ralph and Rudolph of
Wattsville, Va. Cornelius of Pocomoke City, Md. and sisters; Violet Douglas,
Althea Yuler, Lorraine Cropper and Tivola Harmon of Wattsville, Va. and
Gladys Garden of Seaford, Del.; thirty-five grandchildren and thirty-one
great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday
afternoon, May 17, 2004, at 1:00 O’clock in the Wharton Funeral Home, 22171
Whartons Road, Accomac, Va. Burial will be in Friendship United Methodist
Cemetery in Wattsville, Va. Friends will be received on Friday
evening, May 14, between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 O’clock at the Padgett
Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, N.J. and also
on Monday, May 17, between the hours of 12:00 and 1:00 O’clock prior to the
services at the Wharton Funeral Home in Virginia. Written condolences can be
