Wayne F. Burdsall, aged 46, of Bridgeton,
died suddenly on Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, the result of injuries received in a
motor vehicle accident on Route 40, Upper Pittsgrove Township.
The husband of Peggy Jenkins Burdsall, he was born in Bridgeton and was the
son of Bessie Hammerstone Burdsall of Monroeville and Thomas F. Burdsall of
Alloway.
He had been employed with the R. E. Pierson Construction Co. in Woodstown
for the past 7 years.
Wayne was an avid motorcyclist.
Besides his wife and parents, survivors include: twin daughters, Tiffany
Burdsall and Tabitha Burdsall, both of Bridgeton; four sisters, Debbie
McConaghy, Florida, Dawn Coleman, Colorado, Charlene Williams, Bridgeton and
Kimberly Burdsall, Millville; three brothers, Thomas Martin, Illinois,
Charles Lewis, Delaware and Brian Lewis, Colorado and two grandchildren,
Lina Burdsall and Joseph Glessner, Jr. He was preceded in the by his
step-mother, Irene Weldon, who raised him.
Rev. Paul D. Sprouse will conduct funeral services in the Padgett Funeral
Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Monday morning,
Nov. 22, at 10:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Centerton Free Will Baptist
Cemetery, Pittsgrove Township. Friends will be received Monday morning
between 9:00 and 10:00 O’clock, prior to the services at the funeral home.
