Emma B. Butler McKishen, age 90, of Upper
Deerfield Township, died Friday evening, Nov. 19, 2004 in the Cumberland
Manor in Hopewell Township. She had been in declining health for the past 4
years.
Born in Deerfield Township, the daughter
of the late Harry K. and Stella Sloan Butler, she had resided in Upper
Deerfield Township most of her life.
Before her retirement in 1979, she had
been employed with both the Millville and Bridgeton, F.W. Woolworth
Department Stores, having been with the Millville store for over 26 years.
Prior to that she had been employed with Seabrook Farms in Seabrook.
She was a member of the Friesburg
Lutheran Church, the Friesburg Grange and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elmer
V.F.W.
She is survived by her son, Elmer M.
McKishen of Seabrook and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
two sisters, Edith Crispin and Blanche McClelland; and one brother, Harry
Butler, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on
Monday morning, Nov. 29, 2004 at 11:00 O’clock. Burial will be made in the
Friesburg Lutheran Cemetery in Alloway Township. Friends will be received on
Monday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 O’clock, prior to the services at the
