Ellen D. Ambrosius, age 81, of Upper
Deerfield Township died at home on Saturday evening, April 9, 2005. She had
been in declining health since January of this year.
Born in Estonia, the daughter of the late
Edgar and Maria Michelson Sarnits she was the wife of the late William
Ambrosius. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Alexsander Nurk.
She had resided in Upper Deerfield Township for the past three and a half
months and had been a Bridgeton resident prior to that.
Before her retirement in 1985, Mrs.
Ambrosius had been employed with the Kerr Glass Company in Millville for 30
years. Prior to that she was employed with Seabrook Farms in Upper
Deerfield.
Mrs. Ambrosius was a member of the
Northville Estonian Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Dr. Aili Pogust of Marlton Lakes and a son, Andres
Nurk of Upper Deerfield Township.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday at the Northville Lutheran Estonian Church, Old Burlington Road,
Upper Deerfield Township with the Rev. Henio Nurk officiating.
Burial will be made at the church
cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00
to 1:00 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
