Dolores A. Goldsborough, 72, of Salem,
died Friday, April 15, 2005, in the emergency room of the Memorial Hospital
of Salem County.
Dolores was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late Ira and
Delores Williams Goldsborough. She had been a Salem resident for the past 46
years and prior to that had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed with the former Val Mode
Clothing Co., Major Clothing Co. and Theber Clothing Co., all in Bridgeton.
Survivors include: her companion, Lester E. J. Pitts, Salem; four brothers,
I. Max Goldsborough, Hopewell Township, Willard S. Goldsborough, Candor, N.
C., Harvey H. Goldsborough and Richard G. Goldsborough, both of Bridgeton;
one sister, Barbara J. Goldsborough, Bridgeton and several nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence Goldsborough,
Donald Goldsborough and Chester Goldsborough and three sisters, Robena
Pitts, Veronica Goldsborough and Betty Brown.
Her nephew, Rev. Douglas Goldsborough, will conduct funeral services in the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on
Friday afternoon, April 22, at 2:30 O’clock. Burial will be in Overlook
Cemetery, Bridgeton. Friends will be received Friday afternoon between 1: 30
and 2:30 O’clock, prior to the services at the funeral home. Written
