Lewis W. “Skeeter” Lloyd, 57, of
Fairfield Township, died suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday, April 16, 2005,
in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center, Vineland.
The husband of Wanda E. Gravley Lloyd, he was born in Bridgeton and was the
son of the late Lewis D. and Alice Dean Lloyd. He had resided at his present
address for 25 years and prior to that had been a lifetime resident of
Bridgeton.
He had been employed with S. W. K. Enterprises in Upper Deerfield Township
for the past 13 years.
Lewis was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during the Viet Nam Conflict
and had attended the Centerton Free Will Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, survivors include: one daughter Dawn Michele Lloyd,
Hopewell Township and three grandchildren, Todd Lloyd, Brittany Lloyd and
Shelby Lloyd. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lloyd.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, April 21, at 11:00 O’clock,
in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield
Township. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Friends will
be received Thursday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 O’clock, prior to the
