Domingo Gonzales, 62, of Cedarville, died
Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, in S. J. R. M. C., Vineland. He wad been in
failing health for the past 4 years.
The husband of Ruby Cox Gonzales, he was born in Guayabal Joana, Puerto Rico
and was the son of the Lorenza Nunez Gonzales of Puerto Rico and the late
Emerito Gonzales. He had been a Cedarville resident for 41 years and prior
to that had lived in Bridgeton.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed with Wheaton Glass Co. in
Millville for 30 years. Before that he had worked for Seabrook Farms Co. in
Upper Deerfield.
Domingo enjoyed fishing, gardening and the casinos.
Besides his wife and mother, survivors include: three daughters, Floretta
Tiggett, Philadelphia, Pa., Linda Tiggett, Bridgeton and Carol Taylor,
Vineland; one son, James Tiggett, Philadelphia, Pa.; three brothers, Felix
Gonzales, Bridgeton, Desmond Gonzales, Hornsboro, Pa. and Artimus Newman,
Bridgeton; five sisters, Gladys Gonzales, Harrisburg, Pa., Rosa Reyes, York,
Pa., Daisy Gonzales, Puerto Rico, Christina Gonzales, Puerto Rico and Portia
Powell, Lenore, N. C.; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one
great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Tuesday morning, Aug. 16, at 10:00
O’clock. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hopewell Township. A viewing
will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning between 9:00 and 10:00
