Charles H. Haines, aged 70, of Bridgeton,
died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, in S. J. R. M. C., Vineland. He had been in
failing health for the past year.
The husband of Eleanor Bentz Haines, he was born in Bridgeton and was the
son of the late Clarence Haines and Ella Mae Hughes Haines. He had been a
lifetime resident of Bridgeton.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed as Animal Control Officer with
the City of Bridgeton for several years. Prior to that he had worked for
Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville.
Charles was an avid model plane enthusiast.
Besides his wife, survivors include: a daughter, Charline Webster and her
husband Joel of Fairton; two sons, Charles C. Haines Bridgeton and Larry B.
Haines, of Vineland; a grandson, Brian K. Fiester, Fairton; one brother,
Clarence Haines, Florida and a sister, Mary Lardi, Pleasantville.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There
will be no public viewing. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of
