Eleanor Jane Carman, 82, of
Bridgeton, died Sunday morning, Dec. 4, 2005, in S. J. R. M.
C.-Vineland. She had been in failing health for the past 5 years.
The wife of the late Benjamin E. Carman, she was born in Millville and
was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Anna Creamer Shaw. She had
been a Bridgeton resident for 65 years and prior to that she had lived
in Millville.
Before her retirement Mrs. Carman had been employed with the former
Seibel & Stern Clothing Co. and Mark Manufacturing Co., both in
Bridgeton and Balbernie’s Pharmacy in Bridgeton.
She had attended the Edgar Joyce Senior Center.
Survivors include: three daughters, Sue Anne Ayars and Bonnie Kozlarski,
both of Upper Deerfield Township and Shirley Adams, Shiloh; one sister,
Catherine Carman, Millville; four grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, Dec. 8, at 11:00
O’clock, in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper
Deerfield Township. Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton. A
viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning between
