Johnnie Hanshaw, 77, of Bridgeton,
died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, in Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa.,
after a brief illness.
Mr. Hanshaw was born in Hallendale, Fla. and was the son of the late
James and Alice Knight Hanshaw. He had been a Bridgeton resident for
most of his life.
Prior to his retirement Johnnie had worked in Port Norris as an
oysterman for several years.
Survivors include: one sister, Mary Hanshaw, Hallendale, Fla. and many
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by thirteen brothers and
sisters.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Monday, Dec. 12, at 12:00
O’clock noon. Burial will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield
Township. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Monday morning
between 11:00 and 12:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent to the
