Georgean McAllister, age 73, of
Alloway Township died Thursday evening, December 22, 2005 at her home.
Born in Colver, PA, the daughter of
the late Vincent and Anna Chamberlain Russick she was the wife of Melvin
J. McAllister.
Before her retirement in 1993 she had
been employed as executive secretary with the Cumberland County Board of
Social Services for 26 and a half years. Prior to that she had worked at
AirWorks Corporation in Millville.
She was a member of St. Teresa of
Avila R.C. Church in Bridgeton.
In addition to her husband she is
survived by four sons, Wesley Cox, III of Millville, Bradley B. Cox of
Bradford, RI, Craig Cameron Cox of Los Angeles, CA and Wayne D. Cox of
Fort Myers Beach, FL; two grandsons, Travis Cox and William Cox of
Bradford, RI; six sisters, Kathryn Hughes of Colver, PA, Annabel Kokel
of Colver,PA, Margie Simuro of St. Petersburg Beach, FL, Bernadine
Romero of Buford, GA, Naomi Gaboda of San Antonio, TX and a brother, Don
Russick of Salinas, CA.
Relatives and friends are invited to
attend her Funeral Liturgy on Wednesday, December 28th at 10:30 a.m. at
St. Teresa of Avila Church, 46 Central Avenue, Bridgeton. There
will be no public viewing.
Burial will be private at the
convenience of the family.
