Samuel Johnson, age 84, of Bridgeton died
Tuesday evening, February 15, 2005 at the Renaissance Nursing Center in
Bridgeton. He had been in declining health for the past year.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late James and Evelyn Coombs
Johnson and was a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Johnson was employed with the former Minot Foods
Company in Bridgeton.
He is survived by a sister, Evelyn Forman of Upper Deerfield Township and
several nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by six
brothers, Octavius, Fredlend, Howard, Richard, Romaine and James Johnson and
four sisters, Hilda Penn, Madeline Williams, Jessmine Rice and Winifred
Pierce.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, February 23rd at 11:00
a.m.
Burial will be made at Gouldtown Memorial Park, Fairfield Township.
Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the
services at the funeral home.
