Mary C. Sever, age 87, of Cedarville died
early Saturday morning, February 26, 2005 at the Rehabilitation Hospital of
South Jersey in Vineland after a brief illness.
Born in Newport, the daughter of the late
Orlando and Verna Campbell Newcomb, she was the wife of the late George
Sever. She had been a Cedarville resident for the past year and prior to
that had been a longtime Upper Deerfield Township resident.
Mrs. Sever had been employed with the
ACME Supermarket at the Carll’s Corner Shopping Center in Upper Deerfield
for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by a sister, Dorothy
Stretch of Elkton, MD; a daughter in law with whom she resided, Rose Sever
of Cedarville; three grandchildren, Katrina Burkett of Cedarville, Kimberly
DelRossi of Port Norris and Harry Moore of Millville, 8 great grandchildren,
3 nieces and 1 nephew. She was predeceased by a son, George Sever and her
twin sister, Martha French.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Wednesday, March 2nd at
11:00 a.m.
Burial will be made at Newport Baptist Cemetery.

hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
