W. Harper Ewing, age 95, of Stow Creek
Township died Friday morning, January 14, 2005 at his home.
Born in Greenwich, the son of the late
William W. and Mary Harper Ewing, he was the husband of the late Agnes
Fralinger Ewing. He had resided at his present address since 1932, moving
there from Greenwich.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Ewing had
owned and operated the Twin Knoll Farm in Stow Creek Township, and had also
been an electrician with Chammings Electric, Inc. in Vineland for 10 years.
Mr. Ewing was a member of St. Teresa of
Avila Church in Bridgeton and had served as a former member of the Stow
Creek Township School Board and also the Stow Creek Township Variance Board.
He is survived by one son, W. James Ewing
and his wife Ruth of Stow Creek Township; one daughter, Carolyn Burton and
her husband Robert of Stow Creek Township; one daughter-in-law, Nancy L.
Ewing of Stow Creek Township; one sister, Maryanna Carll of Florida; eleven
grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son,
Mark E. Ewing, a brother, Mark D. Ewing and a grandson, David Ewing.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on
Tuesday, January 18th at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be made at the Quaker
Orthodox Friends Meeting Cemetery in Greenwich.
Friends may call on Tuesday morning one
hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
