Grace Joy Hoffman, 64, of Pittsgrove
Township, died at her home on Wednesday morning, July 27, 2005.
The wife of John A. Hoffman, she was born in Parrottsville, Tenn. and was
the daughter of the late Paul W. Garner and Zollie M. Hayes Garner. She had
been a Pittsgrove resident for 37 years and prior to that had resided in
Upper Deerfield Township.
Joy had formerly been employed in the Quality Control Lab at the former
Seabrook Farms Co.
She attended Newfield Baptist Church and Maranatha Baptist Church. She loved
crafts.
Besides her husband, survivors include: three daughters, Kimberly J.
Hoffman, Boca Raton, Fla., Bonnie M. Hoffman and Darlene J. Hoffman, both of
Pittsgrove Township; six grandchildren, John Harvey, Jessica Grasser, Joseph
Harvey, Jenna Harvey, Justin Harvey and Krysta Tilghman and three great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Garner and a
sister, Faye Smith.
Rev. Ernest Moore will conduct funeral services in Maranatha Baptist Church,
1524 Bridgeton-Millville Pike, on Saturday, July 30th at 12:00 noon. Burial
will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held at
the church on Saturday morning between 11:00 and 12:00 O’clock. Funeral
