Jethro “Jack” Price, age 76, of
Monroeville, Upper Pittsgrove Township, died Tuesday morning, July 5, 2005
at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County where he had been a patient for one
day. He had been in declining health for the past two years.
Born in Hartford, Tennessee, the son of
the late Paul and Rebecca Hill Price, he was the husband of Violet McGaha
Price. He had lived at his present address for the past year coming to this
area from Newport, Tennessee.
While living here he was employed with
April Orchards, Moods Farm and Ora Orchards in Elk Township. He was a farmer
in Tennessee when living there.
In addition to his wife, he is survived
by a son, Carl E. Price of Upper Pittsgrove Twp. and a granddaughter, Brandy
Price also of Upper Pittsgrove Twp. He was predeceased by three brothers,
Arthur, Jessie and Winfield Price and a sister, Arlesa McCraken.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on
Friday morning at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wilburn Massie, pastor of the Norma
Independent Free Will Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be made at Olivet Cemetery in
Pittsgrove Township.

7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
