Willie R. Bonner, 67, of Millville, died
Thursday, June 2, 2005, in Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. He had
been in failing health for the past 5 years.
The husband of the late Mary Rollins Bonner, he was born in Alston, Ga. and
was the son of the late Raliegh and Alice Williams Bonner. He had lived in
Millville for the past 5 years and prior to that had been a resident of
Bridgeton.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Bonner had been employed as a Forman with Agway
Corp. in Elmer, where he had worked for 30 years. Prior to that he had been
employed with Seabrook Farms Co.
He was a member and deacon of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in
Franklin Township. Willie loved going to flea markets and auctions.
Survivors include: one daughter, Donna L. Bonner, Bridgeton; six sons,
Willie R. Forman (Barbara), Bridgeton, Richard K. Bonner (Evelyn), Delaware,
Eddie L. Bonner, Sr., Millville, Reginald D. Bonner (Nicole), Ohio, Andrew
K. Bonner, Sr. (Robin), Bridgeton and Stephen M. Bonner (Renee) Bridgeton;
two brothers, Thomas J. Bonner, Bridgeton and George C. Bonner,
Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Dorothy Brown, Bridgeton and Frances
Mohammed, Vineland; twenty six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Bonner, Raliegh
Bonner, Jr. and Anthony Butler and two sisters, Maudell Reams and Carol
Rogers.
His pastor, Rev. Nathaniel Saunders, will conduct funeral services in the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on
Tuesday morning, June 7, at 11:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Cedar Hill
Memorial Park, Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at the funeral
home Tuesday morning between 9:00 and 11;00 O’clock. Written Condolences may
