Richard K. “Dick” France, 66, of
Bridgeton, died at his home on Saturday, June 4, 2005. He had been in
failing health for the past year.
The husband of Mary Pollock France, he was born in Millville and was the son
of the late George and Alice Morris France. He had lived in Bridgeton for
the past 2 years and prior to that had been a resident of Millville and
Vineland
Prior to his illness he had been employed with Wheaton Glass Co. in
Millville and Decora, Inc., Williamstown.
Dick loved to play bingo and visit the casinos.
Besides his wife, survivors include: four children, Pennylynn Ramish,
Millville, Darlene Parent, Millville, Richard K. France, Jr., Geneva, Ala.
And David K. France, Bridgeton; four step-children, Carlton J. Heaton, Jr.,
Hagerstown, Md., Mary E. Marynack, Phoenix, Ariz., Wanda S. Heaton, Woodbury
Heights and Wayne T. Heaton, Malaga; three sisters, Rebecca Streets,
Cedarville, Anna Marie Rodriquez, Vineland and Mary Jane Klink, Millville;
two brothers, Paul France, Vineland and Fred France, Millville; twelve
grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a
brother, George France and two sisters, Alice Ernst and Beatrice Freedman.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Wednesday morning, June 8, at 11:00
O’clock. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Friends will
be received at the funeral home Wednesday morning between 10:00 and 11:00
