James Harrell, age 73, of Seabrook died
Sunday morning at his home. He had been in declining health for the past
five years.
Born in Courtland, VA, the son of the
late Edward and Richetta Carpart Vines he was the husband of Kattie Crump
Harrell. He had been a Seabrook resident for 30 years and prior to that had
resided in Salem.
Before his retirement Mr. Harrell had
been employed with Seabrook Farms for many years and also several area
nurseries.
He is survived by seven daughters, Judy
Braxton of Seabrook, Loraine Suggs of Vineland, Diane Braxton of Seabrook,
Cookie, Cathy, Josephine and Connie Harrell all of Salem; two sons, Paul
Harrell and Charles Braxton both of Salem; three stepsons, George Lee Harold
of Bridgeton, Steve Braxton of Seabrook and Kenny Braxton of Elmer; a
brother, Abe Harold and his wife Lillie of Vineland and a former companion,
Mattie Braxton of Seabrook along with several grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, James
Harrell and two brothers, Edwin and Clyde Harold.
Funeral services will be held on Friday
at 11 a.m. from the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper
Deerfield Twp.
Burial will be made at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp.
