Mericak M. McKinney, age 70, of Bridgeton
died Sunday morning, June 26, 2005 at South Jersey Extended Care in
Bridgeton. She had been in declining health for the past year.
Born in Bossevain, Virginia the daughter
of the late John and Narsie Midkiff Eller, she was the wife of the late
Orville McKinney. She had been a Bridgeton resident for 40 years coming to
this area from West Virginia.
Mrs. McKinney had previously been
employed with the former Little Star Dress Company and Theber Clothing
Company in Bridgeton.
Survivors include a son, Robert McKinney
of Bridgeton; three sisters, Shirley Eller of Cedarville, Goldie Roberts of
Chesapeake, VA and Sue Edwards of Bluefield, West VA; two brothers, Jack
Eller of Bluefield West VA and Frank Eller of Salem; three grandchildren,
Amanda Marie McKinney of North Carolina and Robert McKinney, Jr. and Dayna
Michele McKinney both of Bridgeton. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas
McKinney and 9 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Wednesday, June 29th at
10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jamie Bagley, pastor of the Carll’s Corner
Community Fellowship officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday morning
from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
