Warren H. Darick, age 82, of Upper
Deerfield Township died Thursday evening, March 31, 2005 at the South Jersey
Regional Medical Center in Vineland where he had been a patient for two
days. His death was unexpected.
Born in Troga, Louisiana the son of the
late Frank and Marie Schritter Darick he was the husband of Dorothy Jennings
Darick. He had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 50 years moving
to this area from Pitman.
Mr. Darick was a World War Two veteran
and served with the United States Army.
Prior to his retirement he was a
boilermaker with the N.T.M. Boilermakers Union of Delaware for 35 years.
An active member of the First Seventh Day
Adventist Church in Upper Deerfield Township he had served as a Church Elder
and had been a Sabbath School instructor for many years.
In addition to his wife, survivors
include three sons, David L. Darick of Silver Springs, MD, Warren J. Darick
of Hawaii and Walt W. Darick of Rosenhayn; five daughters, Jeanene K. Loy of
Norfolk, VA, Sandra J. Darick of Deptford Township, Patricia A. Brunner of
Ocean City, MD, twin daughters, Sherill J. Darick of Upper Deerfield
Township and Carol A. Darick of Millville, 20 grandchildren and 8 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on
Tuesday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m.
Cremation and inurnment will take place at Laurel Lawn Crematory.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 1:30 to
2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Written condolences may
