James “Dip” Fentress, age 63, of
Bridgeton died unexpectedly on Thursday evening, March 10, 2005 at the
Emergency Room of the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Seaford, Delaware, the son of the
late Ernest and Frances Forman Fentress, he was the husband of Barbara Pratt
Fentress. He had been a Bridgeton area resident most of his life.
Mr. Fentress had been employed with Carl
MeHaffey’s Nursery.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four sons, James A. Fentress,
Kevin N. Fentress, Joseph McCullough and Jason McCullough; eleven daughters,
Barbara A. Fentress, Tammy D. Fentress, Deborah L. Fentress, Angelina M.
Fentress-Hadley, Marlene Johnson-Banks, Henrietta McCullough, Angie Vega,
Diane Johnson, Michelle Johnson, Daisy McCullough and Judy McCullough; five
brothers, Charles, Louis, Clifton, David and William Fentress; two sisters,
Maggie Fentress and Patricia Frazier, 35 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews
and cousins and two loving friends, Sandra and Gloria.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday,
March 15th at 2:00 p.m. from the Union Baptist Temple, South Pine and Willow
Streets, Bridgeton.
Burial will be made at Cedar Hill
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 to
2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
