Arlene Pierce Jeffery, age 62, of
Millville died Monday, May 2, 2005 at the South Jersey Regional Medical
Center in Vineland where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been
in declining health for the past five years.
Born in Stow Creek she was the daughter of Roseline E. Pierce of Millville
and the late Whildon C. Pierce and was the wife of the late William “Bill”
Jeffery.
Mrs. Jeffrey was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indians of New Jersey and was
an avid Elvis Presley fan.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Gloria Rodgers and
her husband David of Millville; a son, Benjamin H. Pierce, III of Millville;
a brother, Whilden C. Pierce, Jr. of Fairfield Township and a granddaughter,
Amber Rodgers of Millville. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia
Pierce.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6th at 2:30 p.m. at the PADGETT
FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp.
Burial will be made at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Township.
Friends may call on Friday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the
services at the funeral home.
