Gregorio Garcia Rivera, 74, of Bridgeton,
died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in the emergency room of South Jersey Hospital
System-Bridgeton. He had been in failing health for the past 2 ˝ years.
Mr. Rivera was born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico and was the son of the late
Cristobal Garcia and Petrona Rivera. He had been a Bridgeton resident for
the past 50 years, coming from Puerto Rico.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed with the former Maple Run Farms
in Cedarville. He had also worked for the former P. J. Ritter Co. and Hunt
Wesson Foods Co, both of Bridgeton.
Survivors include: one daughter, Patina King, Bridgeton; three sons, Gregory
King, Bridgeton, Jeffrey King, Mays Landing and Ronald King, Millville; nine
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Monday afternoon, June 6, at 2:00
O’clock. Burial will be on Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hopewell Township.
