Georgia L. Miller, age 78, of
Hopewell Township went home to be with her missing family members on
Monday, November 7, 2005.
Born in Sprigg, West Virginia, the
daughter of the late Henderson and Hattie Mae Booth Allen, she was the
wife of Raymond Miller. She had been a Hopewell Township resident for 21
years and a Bridgeton area resident since 1952.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Miller
had been employed with former Major Clothing Company and M.C. Schrank
Company in Bridgeton for several years.
She was a member of the V.F.W.
Meade-Woodward Post in Bridgeton and she and her husband celebrated
their 20th wedding anniversary this year.
In addition to her husband, survivors
include one son, Jackie Allen of St. Charles, MO; three daughters, Jean
Reyes and husband Israel of Upper Deerfield Township, Loretta Borgese
and husband Robert of Vineland and Darlene Hasher and husband Mike of
Shiloh; two stepchildren, Thelma Welden of Shiloh and Raymond Miller,
Jr. of Millville; two brothers, Hence Allen of Palatka, FL and Charles
Allen of Auburn, CA; two sisters, Maxine Craner of New Jersey and
Pauline Ratliff of Millville; nine grandchildren, Gloria Bennett, Israel
Reyes, Jr., Tony Borgese, Sharon Borgese, Dana Borgese, Robin Borgese,
Michael Hasher, Marshall Welden, Jr. and Holly Reed and 17
great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Irvin Allen and a
granddaughter, Tiffany Hasher.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Friday, November 11th at 3 p.m.
Burial will be made at Overlook
Cemetery in Bridgeton.
Friends may call on Friday afternoon
from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
