Elizabeth Ragan, 88, of Pittsgrove
Township, died at her home on Monday, Nov. 14, 2005. She had been in
failing health for the past year.
The wife of the late William R. Ragan, she was born in Salem and was the
daughter of the late Walter and Carrie Gaskill Huffstickler. She had
been a Pittsgrove resident since 1991 and had lived in the Elmer area
for most of her life.
Mrs. Ragan was a homemaker.
Survivors include: four daughters, Marie E. Halter, Schwenksville, Pa.,
Betty Jane Ritter, Pittsgrove, Margaret Cohen, Holland, Pa. and Kathy
Coggins, Pittsgrove; one step-daughter, Joan Esling, Croyden, Pa.; two
brothers, James Huffstickler, Millville and Robert Huffstickler,
Lakeland, Fla.; twenty five grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren
and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son,
Anthony Ragan and a sister, Evelyn Bosco.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday morning, Nov. 18, at
11:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Olivet Cemetery, Pittsgrove Township. A
viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning between 10:00
