The Lord took Pearl Reynolds, 84, of
Woodstown, home to be with her late husband Clyde, on Wednesday, Nov.
30, 2005, in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, after a brief
illness.
Pearl was born in Swords Creek, Va. and was the daughter of the late
George B. and Cosby Coralee Mitchem Grose. She had been a resident o
Woodstown for 21 years and prior to that had lived in Elmer.
She had formerly assisted her late husband in the operation of Reynolds
Roofing & Painting in Elmer for many years.
Mrs. Reynolds had been an active member of the Centerton Free Will
Baptist Church in Pittsgrove, where she had been a Sunday School Teacher
and Youth Leader. She currently attended Faith Orthodox Presbyterian
Church in Pole Tavern.
She loved her family and church and was an avid sewer and traveler.
Survivors include: three daughters, Carol Sue Beebe, Lebanon, Ky.,
Gladys Mae Haney-Barker, Woodstown and Brenda “Jean” Williams,
Mannington, Twp; two sisters, Leona Rhea and Irene Reynolds, both of
Virginia; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Reynolds; a granddaughter, Teresa
Dare DuBois; four brothers and three sisters. She will be greatly missed
by her family and many nieces & nephews and friends at Salem DayCare.
Rev. David Cummins will conduct funeral services in the PADGETT FUNERAL
HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Monday
morning, Dec. 5, at 11:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Centerton Free Will
Baptist Cemetery, Pittsgrove. A viewing will be held in the funeral home
on Monday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 O’clock. In lieu of flowers
the family suggests contributions to the Dare To Dream Foundation, 329
Harding Way, Buena, N. J. 08310, in reference to his granddaughter,
Teresa Dare DuBois, who passed away from cancer in December of 2002.
