Jason A. Hickman, age 26, of
Millville died unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, October 12, 2005 at
the Trauma Center of Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
Born in Mannington Township, the son
of Linda L. Hickman of Millville and Michael D. Miles of Fairfield
Township, he had been a lifetime Vineland resident, only moving to
Millville about 6 years ago.
Formerly employed with T & M Roofing
Co. in Vineland, he was unemployed at the time of his death. Jason was
skilled in audio technology and in the operation of heavy equipment. He
had attended Vineland Public Schools.
In addition to his parents he is
survived by his fiancée’ and mother of his two daughters, Jessica
Bovenzi of Millville; his two daughters, Alexis J. Hickman and Angelina
C. Hickman both at home; five sisters, Michelle Miles-Jordan, Hyeisha
Armstead, Rochelle Miles and Rasalyn Miles-Smithbey all of Millville and
Robin Miles of Maryland; three brothers, Steve Armstead and Daryl Jones
both of Millville and Jermaine Walker of Cherry Hill and his
step-brother, Larry White of Bridgeton, who was both friend and
confident to all the Hickman brothers and a host of nieces, nephews and
other relatives. He was preceded in death this same year by a brother,
Adam A. Hickman.
Funeral services will be held at John
Wesley U.M. Church, Baltimore Ave., Bridgeton on Wednesday, October 19th
at 12:00 O’clock noon. Burial will be in Fordville Memorial Park,
Fairfield Township. Friends will be received on Wednesday morning
between 10:00 and 12:00 O’clock, prior to the services at the church.
