Steven E. Kelley

Steven E. Kelley, 54, of Quinton Township, died at his home Tuesday morning, Oct. 18, 2005. He had been in failing health for the past 3 months.

The husband of Lisa Beal Kelley, he was born in Camden and was the son of Edward R. Kelley of Hammonton and the late Margaret Endrich Kelley. He had lived at his present address for 5 months and prior to that he had resided in Lower Alloways Creek Township.

Steven was a self-employed Farrier & Blacksmith. He worked in the Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland County areas. He was passionate & meticulous about his work and was well known in his trade. He was affection ally known as “Steve the Horse Shoe’r. He had formerly been employed as a roofing contractor for many years.

He loved hunting and hunting dogs and was a member of Newfield Gun Club, Rosedale Deer Club and the Flatlanders Riding Club.

Besides his wife and father, survivors include: one son, Steven Kelley, Clementon; two daughters, Kimberly Bonet and Karen Bass, both of Clementon; his step-mother, Lillian Kelley, Hammonton, two brothers, John Kelley, Vineland and James Kelley, Mt. Ephriam; two sisters, Kathleen Barone, Westampton and Colleen DiBona, Egg Harbor Township and four grandchildren.

Grave side funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, on Friday morning, Oct. 21, at 10:00 O’clock. Interment will follow the services. A viewing will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME. 1107 State Highway 77, Bridgeton, on Thursday evening, Oct. 20, between 7:00 and 9:00 O’clock.
