Trettis Santiago, age 71 of Bridgeton
died Sunday morning, October 30, 2005 at the South Jersey Regional
Medical Center in Vineland. She had been in declining health for the
past year.
Born in Upper Pittsgrove Township,
the daughter of the late Robert and Mazie Carr Walker, she was the wife
of the late Alberto Santiago. She had been a Bridgeton area resident
most of her life.
Mrs. Santiago was a homemaker but had
previously been employed with the former Hunt Wesson Foods Co. and the
P.J. Ritter Co. in Bridgeton.
She is survived by five daughters,
Carmen Jackson of Norma, Bernadette Santiago Brown of Bridgeton, Carla
Santiago of Vineland, Martina McKeever of Huber Heights, OH and Iris
Santiago of Pottstown, PA; five sons, Carlos Santiago of Rahway, Eduardo
Rodriguez of Hopewell Twp., Armando Rodriguez of Bridgeton, Raphael
Rodriquez of Vineland and Jose Torres of Puerto Rico; two brothers,
Derrick Jackson of Virginia Beach, VA and Gary Jackson of St. Louis, MO;
three sisters, Shirley Davis of Pemberton, Maggie Howard and Cynthia
Jackson both of Browns Mills, 30 grandchildren and 34 great
grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Bernardo Santiago and
Jerome Rodriguez and a sister, Vera Nichols.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Saturday, November 5th at 1 p.m.
Burial will be made at Cedar Hill
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Friday evening
from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
