Edward E. Newmaster, 53, of Glassboro,
formerly of Bridgeton, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, in S. J. R. M. C.,
Vineland. He had been in failing health for the past 2 years.
Mr. Newmaster was born in Bridgeton and was the son of Anna Biggs Newmaster
of Egg Harbor Township and the late Herbert E. Newmaster. He had lived in
Glassboro since 1980 and prior to that had been a lifetime resident of
Bridgeton.
He had been employed with the former Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton
since graduating high school until their closing. After that he had worked
for the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Glassboro until becoming disabled.
Edward was a graduate of Bridgeton High School, Class of 1971. He loved
NASCAR Racing and the Bridgeport Races.
Besides his mother, survivors include: his companion, Patricia Woodrow of
Glassboro and one brother, Herbert D. Newmaster, Fort Myers, Fla.
A public viewing will be held Friday afternoon, Sept. 30, between 2:00 and
4:00 O’clock, in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper
Deerfield Township. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
