Carrie Mae Cuff, age 91, of Quinton
Township died Monday afternoon, April 3, 2006 at Cooper Medical Center
in Camden. Her death was unexpected.
Born in Woodbury, the daughter of the
late George and Miranda Douglas Jones, she was the wife of the late
Rufus Cuff, Jr. She had been a Quinton Township resident most of her
life.
Prior to her retirement she had been a seamstress at the former Merlin
Dress Company in Salem and Woodstown for 57 years.
Mrs. Cuff was a longtime member of
the Mt. Vernon Holy Church in Quinton Township where she had taught
Sunday school for over 25 years.
She is survived by a son, Carlos H.
Cuff of Quinton Township; three grandchildren, Deano H. Cuff of Stow
Creek Township, Vicki L. Cuff of Quinton Township, Carla C. Cuff of
Pennsgrove and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter,
Gloria Mae Cuff and her step-father, Oliver Pitts.
Funeral services will be held on
Friday, March 7th at the Mt. Vernon Holy Church, Bridgeton-Salem Pike,
Quinton.
Burial will be made at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Friday from 10 to
11 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
