Rebecca I. Johnson, age 73, of
Bridgeton died Tuesday evening, April 18, 2006 at her home. She had been
in declining health for the past two months.
Born in Bridgeton, she was a lifetime
area resident and was the daughter of the late James and Mary Williams
Johnson.
Surviving are four daughters, Sandra
Johnson and Gloria McCullough of Bridgeton, Theresa McCullough of
Vineland and Margo McCullough of Camden; three brothers, Joseph W.
Johnson of Bridgeton, Milton E. Johnson of Pedricktown and Ronald
Johnson of Vineland; three sisters, Cecelia M. Pierce and Eugunia Harris
both of Bridgeton and Shirley Ann Johnson of Fairfield Township, 11
grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was predecease by five
brothers, Herman, Robert, George, Donald and Frank Johnson and five
sisters, Margaret Childers, Ellen Durham, Mary Browne, Linda Pierce and
Hilda King.
Funeral services will be held on
Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Union Baptist Temple, South Pine
and Willow Streets, Bridgeton.
Burial will be made at Fordville
Memorial Park in Fairfield Township.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 1
to 2 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
