Leah Elizabeth King, age 79, of Upper
Deerfield Township died Friday, April 28, 2006 at the South Jersey
Regional Medical Center in Vineland. She had been in declining health
for the past five years.
Born in Bridgeton, the daughter of
the late David and Millette Harris Truett, she was the wife of the late
Lee King. She had lived at her present address for four years and had
been a lifetime Bridgeton area resident.
Mrs. King was a homemaker and had
formerly been employed with the P.J. Ritter Company in Bridgeton.
She loved playing Bingo.
Survivors include two sons, David L.
King of Kingsport, Tennessee and Paul R. King and his wife Peggy of
Upper Deerfield Township; a brother, Richard Truett of Arizona; eight
grandchildren, Dianna, Brad and Melissa King and Cheryl, Tracy, Tina,
Connie and Rhonda Pierce and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased
by a daughter, Sarah Jane King and her twin sister, Lila.
Funeral services will be held on
Wednesday, May 3rd at 11 a.m. at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township.
Burial will take place at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Wednesday morning
from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
