Rachel Pierce, age 89, of Bridgeton
died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Township
after a brief illness.
Born in Carmel, she was the daughter
of the late Caleb and Christine Jones Pierce. She had been a Bridgeton
resident for 25 years and prior to that has lived in Vineland.
Before her retirement Ms. Pierce had
been employed at the former Theber Clothing Company and Major Clothing
Company in Bridgeton.
She is survived by several nieces and
nephews including Jeanette Oliver of Bridgeton and a great-niece,
Christine Shelton of Cedarville. She was predeceased by three brothers,
Furman, Henry and Caleb Pierce, Jr. and two sisters, Bertha Banks and
June Morris.
Private graveside services will be
held at the convenience of the family at Fordville Memorial Park in
Fairfield Township.

of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
