Alice Ernestine Buck, age 73, of Port
Norris died Thursday afternoon, August 31, 2006 at the care unit of
HospiceCare of South Jersey in Bridgeton. She had been in declining
health for the past two years.
A lifetime Port Norris resident, Mrs.
Buck was the daughter of the late Ernest and Emma Waters Hall-Lee and
the step daughter of the late James Lee. She was the wife of Amos C.
Buck.
Mrs. Buck had been employed with several shellfish companies in the Port
Norris area including the Riggins and Robbins Company for many years.
She was a supportive member of the
John Wesley United Methodist Church in Port Norris.
In addition to husband she is survived by a daughter, Belinda A. Hall of
Port Norris; a sister in law, Gladys Buck of Port Norris and many
adopted children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends,
Funeral services will be held at the
John Wesley United Methodist Church, Ogden Avenue, Port Norris on
Saturday, September 9th at 12 noon.
Burial will take place at Haleyville
Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Township.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10
a.m. to 12 noon prior to the services at the church.
