Barbara J. Kangal, 58, of Bridgeton,
died in the Cooper Medical Center, Camden, on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006. She
had been in failing health for 6 months and had been a patient at the
hospital for the past month.
She was born in Camden and was the daughter of Hollis A. and Evelyn
Catlin Bruce of Bridgeton. She had been a lifetime resident of
Bridgeton.
Barbara had previously been employed with Rite Aid Drug Store in
Bridgeton and before that she had been a waitress at the Golden Pigeon
Restaurant in Upper Deerfield for several years.
Besides her parents, survivors include: two daughters, Yvonne Novajovsky,
Vineland and Angela T. Bruce, Absecon; two sisters, Patricia Ann
Whitehead, Stockton, Cal. and Sharon Rempher, Fairton; one brother,
Hollis Bruce, Jr., Bridgeton; five grandchildren, several great
grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a
brother, Michael Bruce.
Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family, in
the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township. Burial will be
private. There will be no public viewing. Written condolences may be
