William H. Neiman, age 84, of
Commercial Township died Friday, August 4, 2006 at his home. He had been
in declining health for ten years.
Born in Philadelphia, the son of the
late Robert and Mary Canon Neiman he was the husband of Barbara Surran
Neiman. He had been a Commercial Township resident since 1970 and prior
to that had lived in Woodbury.
Before his retirement Mr. Neiman had
been employed at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Philadelphia for 25 years.
He was a veteran of World War Two
having served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. He was a member
of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Cedarville and a life member
of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 82 in Millville.
In addition to his wife survivors
include four sons, William F. of California, Robert of Commercial
Township, Timothy of Tennessee and William H., Jr. of Millville; one
daughter, Joan Mary of Philadelphia; one brother, Robert C. and his wife
Jean of Swainton; two sisters, Patricia of Philadelphia and Mary Jane
and her husband John of Cold Springs, NJ and several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Neiman.
His Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic
Church, 367 Main Street, Cedarville on Wednesday, August 9th at 10 a.m.
Cremation and inurnment will take
place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to
the services in the church.
In lieu of flowers the family asks
that contributions in Mr. Neiman’s memory be made to St. Michael’s Roman
Catholic Church, 367 Main Street, Cedarville, NJ 08311.
