Linwood Thomas, III, age 37, of
Bridgeton died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 2, 2006 in the emergency
room at South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Salem, the son of Barbara
Brown Thomas of Akron, OH and the late Linwood Thomas, Jr. he was the
husband of Linda Henderson Thomas.
Linwood resided in Bridgeton where he
met his wife and was a caring and helpful person who didn’t mind helping
anyone in need.
He had previously been employed with
the Easter Seals Foundation in Vineland.
In addition to his wife and mother he
is survived by his “second mother”, Marjorie Washington of Vineland; a
stepson, Greg Henderson; three brothers, Warren E. Brown of Akron, OH,
Willie “Junebug” Dixon, III of Bridgeton and Tyrone D. Dixon of
Vineland; two sisters, Catherine L. Garland of Akron, OH and Loretta
“Sugar” Carter of Vineland; two grandmothers, Louise Fullard and Doris
Lewis both of Bridgeton; an aunt, Geneva Riley of Millville, a host of
nieces and nephews, along with many family and friends who dearly loved
him.
Private services were held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Tuesday, August 8th.
